August 6, 2025 by Isaiah Warfield Founded in 2009 and renamed in 2011, The Education Partnership addresses the critical need for school supplies in under-resourced classrooms across Southwestern PA. Through its Teacher Resource Center, the organization supports schools where 70% or more of students qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Every year, teachers are also eligible to receive thousands of dollars’ worth of school supplies for use in their classrooms. The Education Partnership looks to improve the long-term overall health and well-being and educational outcomes of students attending five schools in Clairton, Duquesne, and McKeesport by providing new, essential school supply kits to all students, as well as creating teacher supply closets at the schools. For the 2025-2026 school year, they’re serving 82,000 students, 12,000 teachers, and 231 schools. We’re proud to support their continued impact in the Jefferson footprint.
