Fully embracing the British Invasion theme, every activity — including the whiskey tasting and a live auction emceed by WQED’s Michael Bartley — served as major buildup to the moment when Beatlemania Now entered the room. Once the band was onstage in the East Club Lounge of Heinz Field, North Shore, any room on the dance floor accommodated elbows only. Co-chaired by Dr. James Betler (with Janice) and Dr.Mark Gannon (with Marion), the Jan. 24 event was presented by Jefferson Regional Foundation with proceeds benefiting cancer care at the hospital. On the list were prexy Louise Urban, Allegheny Health Network prez John Paul, Dr. Ambaram Chauhan, James andJamie Graham, Sister Nancy Hupert, Dr. David Parda, and Richard and Micki Talarico.
