Community Voice Fund Who better to understand the needs of our communities than the people who live here and know its strengths? The Community Voice Fund, launched in conjunction with JRF’s 10th Anniversary in 2023, represents a unique effort to raise the voices of residents in the Jefferson service area — those who best know its history, neighborhoods, strengths, and challenges. The Fund encourages partners to convene residents and stakeholders to identify community challenges and propose immediate and long-term action plans to improve health and well-being. The Jefferson Regional Foundation awarded 16 Community Voice Fund grants in 2023, totaling $350,000. The Foundation will be offering a dedicated Community Voice Fund every other year. The next Fund will be offered in 2025-2026. In years when there is no designated Fund, organizations seeking to convene and listen to community members can be included in grant requests.
