August 20, 2015 by Jefferson Regional Foundation The University of Pittsburgh Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR) in partnership with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services created a data tool to identify local needs, promote neighborhood investment and ultimately revitalize communities in the area. The site contains community data at a county, neighborhood, zip code, census block, census tract, and school district level and is developed in a very user-friendly software platform. Data are compiled and delivered in eleven areas (Arts & Culture; Civic Vitality & Governance; Demographics, Economy; Education; Environment; Health; Housing and Properties; Human Services; Public Safety and Transportation). Please visit https://profiles.ucsur.pitt.edu to explore data about your community!
