The Pittsburgh region is fortunate to have some excellent free or low-cost resources to assist community-based organizations.

The Center offers classes (including grantwriting and grantseeking) free access to a searchable national database of foundations offered by the national Foundation Center, onsite resources about foundations in the region, as well as other resources.

The Center offers classes, consulting and coaching, and other important services such as the highly valuable Annual Nonprofit Salary Survey (with the United Way of Allegheny County).

 

United Way of Allegheny County, in partnership with the Bayer Center, sponsors an annual free Wages and Benefits Survey of SW PA Nonprofit Organizationswhich is a comprehensive, highly detailed report that provides excellent benchmark information for the nonprofit sector.
